Live Premiere of Monet's Water Triptych Finally!!
I was over the moon to hear my piece performed by New Ear Contemporary Chamber Ensemble. One of my most treasured memories will be of my friends Ashley, Ann and Ryan in the audience as well as Filip my husband. So grateful to hear the music of other composers and be surrounded by new works and amazing players. Thank you Zolt Eder, Sascha Groschang and Charles Dickinson.
My piece was on the radio...Ahhhhhh!
Kansas City's classical radio KCUR played my piece Monet's Water Triptych on their radio show Sound Currents on Dec 2nd. I will have the honor to hear it live, finally, as the premiere of my piano trio will be on Dec 10th and 11th in Kansas City. I can't wait to hear New Ear Contemporary Chamber Ensemble play it. I think this is a worthy post since my last blog in 2016! Stay tune for my next blog in 2028.

It was great fun and exciting to hear Arxduo premiering my piece The Conversation Suite. My heart was full as so many of my friends showed up to the performance, including my dear friends Jodi and Steve who came from Cleveland.

Colors, shapes and forms
I use painting and drawing as a way to find humor in life. I have being delighted by colors, shapes and forms since I can remember. I really like to paint and draw faces, and I assume it is because I grew up watching many people coming in and out of my parents' business. Aside from the theme of faces, I find it very curious that I explore the subjects of painting and dance over again, but this time in music, as a composer. I am looking forward to spending some afternoons looking at the exhibitions at the Nelson Atkins Museum and bringing some friends with me too! :D
